Ortho-LipGuard™

Ortho-LipGuard™ is a patented device "Patent 6,080,923" that protects the inside of the lips from abrasions and pain caused by the lip coming into contact with a patient’s braces during routine activities, such as playing instruments. It provides comfort and protection to orthodontic patients with an easy to use moldable material that allows them to continue routine activities throughout the orthodontic process.

The Ortho-LipGuard™ is made from an FDA allowable polymer. Once softened by heat, it can be easily shaped around the patients braces. Once cooled, it can be peeled from the patient’s braces. The guard will retain the shape it has acquired while being molded, containing an impression of the patients braces.
